We sincerely hope you are happy with your purchase, but if you are not completely satisfied, we accept returns or exchanges within 30 days of delivery on items bought at full price. The customer is responsible for return costs. As a small business, we are unable to accommodate free returns at this time, but as we grow, we plan to change that. To minimize returns and exchanges, we encourage you to contact us to help you with your selection. See below for specifics on our current policy.
RETURN AND EXCHANGE POLICY
All full priced items purchased online in the U.S. are eligible for return/exchange within 30 days of the postmarked delivery date. All sales are final after the 30-day window has lapsed. Returns and exchanges must be delivered to our warehouse within 30 days (two weeks) of the delivery date for a refund. Any return received after 30 days will not be accepted. All returned items must be in new and unused condition, with all original tags, labels, and accompanying packaging, including the barcode.
After receiving your return/exchange and inspecting the condition of your item, we will process your return/exchange. Please allow up to 5 days, from the receipt of your item, for our warehouse to process your return/exchange. A $5 restocking fee in addition to any shipping cost initially paid by Kempton & Co will be deducted before a refund/exchange is issued.
If you remove the Route insurance added with your purchase, we are not responsible for lost packages or replacement of the item.
Refunds are only available with online purchases. All purchases made at our store are exchange or store credit only.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPMENTS/RETURNS
We accept returns for international orders. Please be aware that international customs duties and sales taxes are NOT refunded for shipments outside the USA. When returning items from outside the USA, international customs duties and sales taxes are NOT the responsibility of Kempton & Co. LLC. It is the customer’s responsibility to track packages and pay any possible customs duties and sales taxes in order to ensure delivery of return. In case duties are not paid, and the item is returned to us, the customer is responsible for the return shipping charges.

RETURN AND EXCHANGE PROCESS
If you wish to return or exchange an item, request a Return Authorization by contacting us at returns@kemptonandco.com. Please make sure to state your name, date of order, order number, the name of the item you wish to return and the reason for your return. No parcel shall be accepted without a Return Authorization. Mark the box with your order number.
Await advice as to where to send the item you wish to return.
DO NOT SEND TO THE ADDRESS ON YOUR ORDER CONFIRMATION EMAIL OR FROM THE ORIGINAL SHIPPING LABEL.
Customer is responsible for return shipping cost. You may ship the item using any method you like. The item you are returning is your responsibility until it reaches us. For your own protection, we recommend that you send the package using a delivery service that will insure and track your goods, such as FedEx or UPS.
-The cost of returning the item to us is your responsibility; any shipping charges incurred by Kempton & Co. LLC to send the item to you initially will be deducted.
FINAL SALE
All sale products are Final Sale. When an item is final sale, we do not allow returns. No price adjustments will be made on past purchases and same product cannot be returned then reissued to capture a price adjustment.
All items purchased at our events (Pop-Up, Trunk Show), sample sale items, third party items are Final Sale.
SAMPLE SALE
Samples purchased in our sample sale are sold in an as is condition with no warranty for repair and are final sale. They also cannot be adjusted-handle length etc. Please purchase our highly discounted samples at your own risk as they are not production approved.
Additionally, HOLIDAY CANDLES, HATS, FRAGRANCE, LOTIONS, MONICA CASTIGLIONI JEWELRY, FINE JEWELRY, GLASSES AND SUNGLASSES ARE NOT RETURNABLE.
Unfortunately, pre-order items or personalized items are not returnable as they are custom made for you.

For full price purchases made between December 15-24, 2024, you have until January 31, 2025, to return or exchange your item(s). Items must be unused. This policy excludes all third-party items including but not limited to hats, sunglasses, candles, etc.
THERE ARE EXPECTED CARRIER DELAYS DUE TO THE IMPACT OF COVID19 AND THE HOLIDAY PERIOD (MAINLY LABOR SHORTAGES). PLEASE REACH OUT TO UPS OR USPS IF YOU WISH FOR MORE INFORMATION ON YOUR PACKAGE WHEREABOUTS IF TRACKING SHOWS NO MOVEMENT. BEST WAY TO HELP A SPEEDIER DELIVERY IS SELECT AN EXPEDITED SHIPPING OPTION, BUT THERE ARE NO GUARANTEES AS NO CARRIER OR WAREHOUSE IS OPERATING WITH STANDARD SLAS.
